Girl Scouts of Central and Western MA

Girl Scouts of Central and Western Massachusetts, (GSCWM) aims to build courage, confidence, and character in girls who want to make the world a better place. Girl Scout experiences provide girls the opportunity to develop the attitudes, skills, and behaviors they need to succeed in life.

Grants from the Women’s Foundation include:

  • 2025: Three-year grant to support the expansion of GSCWM’s community-based programming in under-served towns, including Holyoke, Pittsfield, Chicopee, Springfield, and Worcester.
  • 2023: Three-year grant funding a community partnership specialist to work in Western MA, where there is limited community-based Girl Scout programming.
  • 2022: Catalyst Grant funding new technology software to improve fundraising, donor engagement, and volunteer awareness.
  • 2020: Three-year grant for It’s a Girl’s World, a staff-led after-school program offering free STEM projects, financial literacy training, and healthy living classes to girls from underserved communities who are without access to traditional Girl Scout troop activities.
