Economic Empowerment in Action

Participants increased their average income from $18,700 to $54,000 upon completing the program (EMPath).

100% of teens reported increased skills and confidence in presenting themselves professionally in the workplace (Dress for Success Boston).

88% of participants achieved the financial goals they set at the start of the program (EMPath).

83% of participants improved their understanding of how to create and manage a budget (YWCA Northeastern Massachusetts).

Shaping Futures

Expanding Access & Opportunity

MUA equips low-income Latina and other women English language learners with the tools to build stronger futures through mentoring, education, and job training.

The Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts has supported MUA with two grants: one for its Clinical Medical Assistant education and externship program, and a one-year catalyst grant to pilot a Medical Administrative Assistant training program.
