Bryanne Mahoney Bowen

about Bryanne

Bryanne Mahoney Bowen  (Vice President of Development) joins the Women’s Foundation of Massachusetts after fundraising for nonprofits throughout Greater Boston, including Facing History and Ourselves, Enroot, and Combined Jewish Philanthropies, and time as a volunteer for The Philanthropy Connection, a women’s collective giving organization, and Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters. Bryanne is a proud double Husky, with a Master’s and Bachelor’s Degree in History from Northeastern University, where she first experienced the power of women and girls programming as a mentor with Strong Women, Strong Girls. Bryanne currently lives in Boston with her husband and bernedoodle puppy.

Ami Kuan Danoff

Ami Kuan Danoff (Co-Founder) is a Founding Partner of the National Women’s Soccer League Boston team and a tech ventures investor.  She is the lead funder of Raxia, an AI-powered platform for healthcare revenue cycle management. Her previous career was as a portfolio manager in global equities at Putnam Investments and co-manager of the Putnam International New Opportunities Fund and as an international equities analyst at Fidelity Investments. Ami is a Harvard Quantum Founder and a member of Harvard’s FAS Dean’s Council.  She graduated from Harvard College with an AB in design and holds dual MSc degrees in Applied Economics and International Finance from MIT Sloan.

Christina Gordon

Christina Gordon (Co-Founder and CEO) holds a dual master’s degree in International Finance and Applied Economics from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Boston University and also studied for a joint master’s degree in Women’s Studies and Sociology at Brandeis with a focus on women in the workplace. Christina is a former assistant fund manager and technology industry equity analyst at Wellington Management. She also worked as a stock analyst at Fidelity Investments. She is a trustee of a private foundation, a member of Women Moving Millions and proudly served on the board and Executive Committee of Rosie’s Place, a sanctuary for poor and homeless women in Boston.

Anne Kaplan (Controller) holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Stonehill College. She started her career at KPMG and transitioned to managerial roles leading all aspects of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury and financial reporting with both large and small companies. She has also served in consulting roles as part-time Controller and advisor to CEOs with financial, accounting and managerial matters. Anne served as Board Member for ten years and Board President for two years at The Second Step, an organization dedicated to adult and child survivors of domestic violence. She has also volunteered at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office.

Sadie O'Brien

About Sadie

Sadie O’Brien (Grants Management & Communications Associate) holds two B.A. degrees in French and Spanish from Auburn University, and completed minors in Philanthropy & Nonprofit Studies, Hunger Studies, and Business. At Auburn, she participated in hands-on nonprofit operations opportunities, including a grantmaking course where her class awarded a small grant to a local nonprofit and a research capstone project focused on collaborating with the Hunger Solutions Institute to apply for a USDA GusNIP grant. Sadie was a summer intern at the Women’s Foundation, creating a communications database that collected grantee partner impact stories and statistics. She serves on the Young Leaders Council for The Sports Museum, a nonprofit educational institution committed to improving lives through the power of Boston sports. 

Patti Satterthwaite

About Patti

Patti Satterthwaite (President) received a BA from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the New York University Stern School of Business. After business school, she worked at Fidelity Investments/Fidelity International where she launched and managed Latin American funds and the Latin American group, as well as emerging markets funds. Following her retirement from investments, Patti was Co-President of the board of the Concord Carlisle Community Chest (CCCC). She is currently VP of the Nashoba Brooks School Board and is on the investment committee of the Concord Museum and CCCC.

Annie Tallas

Annie Tallas (Director of Grants Management) Annie Tallas holds a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, an M.S. in Criminal Justice from Northeastern University and a B.A. from the University of Vermont. She has been involved in several research studies centering on juvenile justice, parole, and corrections and published an analysis of juvenile representation in delinquency proceedings. Annie serves on the board of Second Chance Cars, a nonprofit serving returning citizens and veterans, where she spearheaded their grant making and evaluation protocol.
